Welcome to Dortmund!
abiosus e.V. invites you to the 13th edition of the international workshop on the chemical use of fats and oils as renewable resources. The event will take place from 08–10 June 2026 in Dortmund, Germany.
Sustainability Needs Exchange.
The sustainable use of natural resources is one of the defining challenges of our time. Fats and oils are among the most important biobased raw materials for the chemical industry – with applications ranging from basic chemicals to specialized products.
Where Science meets Practice.
The workshop has become a key interdisciplinary platform fostering dialogue between research and application. Its goal: to share knowledge, spark cooperation, and jointly shape future perspectives.
We look forward to welcoming you to this unique gathering of the international oleochemical community.
Workshop Topics:
Chemistry of fats and oils & other renewable resources
Synthesis of fine chemicals
Monomer / Polymer synthesis
Catalysis
Sustainability
Introducing renewable materials to the market
Selected contributions will be published in a special issue of the European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology.
